Design Philosophy
My philosophy is to work hand in hand with
the client and listen to the clients needs, wishes and wants in order to create a finished
product that will be the center piece
of your club or development. I have the
capabilities to work as the project leader and
bring the team together or work as part of
the team with the client’s consultants. No
matter how big or small the project I will
always work closely with the team to eliminate any miscommunication and make your project a success. I am always budget conscience and will provide unlimited design alternatives to assure that you receive the best final
design that maximizes your projects budget.
Golf courses should be aesthetically pleasing, strategically challenging, and fun to play. My courses are visually stimulating punctuated by attractive bunkers, wide, contoured fairways, subtle mounding, and seductive putting greens. Selective placement of natural grasses and artful mowing patterns frame fairway landing areas and provide a visual backdrop to strategically challenging and often guarded putting greens.
Benefits of personal service
One Point of Contact: This is really where the benefits begin to show up as the project takes shape. It all starts with the initial site visit and design. By having one person involved from the beginning, errors and miscommunications are non-existent. When you need a question answered, you know who to call to get the answer right away.
Site Review and Project Timing: This is where both time and money are saved. Many times when you have an architect and associate involved, the associate may make decisions onr week only to have the principal architect alter those decisions the next. This not only costs the project time for completion, but can cost the owner money during construction since most contractor’s factor in the changes with their price or issue a change order.
Keeping Your Project Personal: One final benefit is how I will keep your project on my most important list. This is because I am not out looking to conquer the world of golf course architecture. I enjoy working with my clients and designing quality projects. I provide one alternative to working with a golf course architectural firm and hope to help you make an informed decision when it comes to completing your project. Finding that perfect fit is what makes projects fun, exciting, and rewarding.
